The story
Chicken Tikka is a dish with roots in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent, which encompasses parts of eastern Pakistan and north ern India. It is traditionally small pieces of boneless chicken, marinat ed in a blend of spices and yogurt, and then baked using skewers in a cylindrical clay oven called a tandoor. The literal meaning of tikka is "bits" or "pieces". Over time, this dish became an integral part of Pakistani cuisine. In modern times, it is loved by people around the world, and different variations of it are available in many countries.
