Terms of Service

These terms apply to tribalpeopleshop.com (“the site”), run by Tribal People Try (“we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. What the site is

The site publishes videos from the Tribal People Try YouTube channel (embedded from YouTube), recipes, and a paid meal-planning membership (“Membership”). Videos and recipes are free to view. The Membership adds weekly meal plans, shopping lists, reminders, favourites, printable cards and share cards.

2. Accounts

You sign in with Google or a one-time email code. Keep your email account secure; anything done through your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 16, or have a parent’s permission.

3. Membership, trial and billing

• New members get a free trial of 3 days. A payment card is required to start the trial.
• When the trial ends your card is charged automatically for the plan you chose: $3.99 per month or $29 per year (US dollars, plus any applicable tax). Prices shown at checkout are final.
• Membership renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from Account → Billing. Cancelling during the trial means you are never charged. Cancelling later stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
• One free trial per person. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
• If a payment fails we will email you and keep your access for a short grace period while you update your card, after which access pauses until payment succeeds.

4. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing; charges for periods already started are not refunded except where the law requires or where we got something wrong.

5. Recipes and health

Recipes, nutrition estimates and dietary tags are provided as guidance only. Always check ingredient labels if you have an allergy or medical condition; we cannot guarantee any recipe is free of a particular allergen. Nothing on the site is medical advice.

6. Content and copyright

Videos belong to Tribal People Try and play from YouTube under YouTube’s terms. “Watch it being made” videos belong to their respective creators. Recipe text, photos and site design are ours or used under licence. You may print or share recipe cards for personal, non-commercial use. Don’t scrape, copy or republish the site’s content.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no automated access, no attempts to bypass the paywall, no sharing an account across households, no unlawful use.

8. Changes and termination

We may change features or prices; price changes never apply to a period you have already paid for, and we’ll tell you in advance. We may close accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

9. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses arising from following a recipe. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
