Paratha
The story
The word "Paratha" comes from the words "parat" and "atta," which literally mean layers of cooked dough. Paratha is a type of Indian and Pakistani bread that has its origins in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent. It's a staple in Pakistani and Indian homes, served either at breakfast or during meals. Tradi tionally, parathas are made using ghee or oil. They are usually stuffed with different fillings, but the plain paratha remains a favorite due to its simplicity and versatility.
