About this video
A break from the table. This Tribal People Try episode — "Villager's EPIC First Time Hearing Bon Jovi! Watch Till the End! 😂" — is about music, and the first impressions are exactly what happened when the camera was rolling.
About these episodes
Music and film reactions: Hollywood trailers, K-pop, heavy metal, opera, Bollywood versus the West, old cartoons. Watched on a laptop in the courtyard with everyone talking over it.
What to expect
Loud music gets turned down and then turned up again. Action films are followed closely; romance is watched through fingers. Anything with a horse in it earns respect.
The village view
Punjabi folk music, Sufi qawwali and old Lollywood films are the reference points, and the tribe are not shy about saying their own singers are better.
This episode
The video runs about 9 minutes and went up in September 2024.
They've also tried cake and candy — those episodes are linked on the right.
