Tribal People Try Trader Joe's Belgian Cookies
About this video
In this Tribal People Try episode it's cookies. The tribe look it over, ask the questions anyone would, and then taste it and give the honest answer.
What is cookies?
Cookies and biscuits: Oreos, chocolate chip cookies, shortbread, digestives, Biscoff, Girl Scout cookies. Oreo is the most-featured single product on the channel and has its own set of videos.
What to watch for
Everyone dunks. The Oreo twist-and-lick ritual gets demonstrated and mostly ignored in favour of dipping the whole thing in tea. Soft, chewy American cookies are a new texture — biscuits here are crisp.
The comparison they always make
Biscuits with tea is a daily ritual in the village, so cookies arrive into an expert audience. The tribe's reference is the plain Pakistani tea biscuit, and anything sweeter is judged as cake.
