Will Tribal People Like American Pickle?
About this video
Tribal People Try, away from the food. "Will Tribal People Like American Pickle" belongs to the culture side of the channel, where the village meets the rest of the world one thing at a time.
About these episodes
Culture and everyday life elsewhere: a New York apartment, a Japanese train, a supermarket, a gym, a wedding in another country, Western clothes, house prices, how people eat with a fork and knife.
What to expect
These are the episodes where the village meets the world's habits rather than its food. The prices of ordinary things — rent, a coffee, a haircut — get the biggest reaction of all.
The village view
Village life is family courtyards, farming, the mosque, the bazaar and tea. The comparisons are gentle, funny and often land on the same conclusion: the world is strange and home is fine.
