What is chocolate?
Chocolate from the shops: Cadbury, Hershey's, Lindt, Kinder, Toblerone, Ferrero Rocher, and spreads like Nutella. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate each get a different reaction, and dark is the hardest sell.
M&M's were made from 1941 for American soldiers, in a sugar shell so the chocolate would not melt; the 'M' was printed on each one from 1950.
What to watch for
Milk chocolate is liked at once. Dark chocolate — bitter, drying — is where the faces come from, and eighty-per-cent bars are treated as a prank. Nutella is the runaway favourite in almost every chocolate video.

Chocolate is available everywhere in Pakistan, but as a small bar for children, not something adults eat. Older participants often say they have not had it since they were young.
